Are we justified in accepting AIG material and thekingdomnow.org
material as our only two reasonable options when it comes to Ancient Chronology/History/Geology
or Archaeology?
In the article, linked here,
is found a very clear denunciation of evolution and Creation
Science. It is replaced by a call to
view the past as a model of the present.
Scientific studies - in a variety of disciplines - seem to be outed on
the basis that Scripture supports a ‘whose-in-charge-here’ model. Indeed all writings from the past seem
somehow destined to support this model.
Is there really no basis for an ‘Evangelical’ or a
‘Fundamentalist’ position? And if so,
what about a position which is grounded on Science
– without mindless worship – and its appropriate counterpart high-quality Historical Research which itself is
intimately-linked into an environment of the sharing of creative and
solidly-based independent research efforts?
Can Scripture be eliminated – just like that?
I propose in this article to tackle a number of issues that
tie in with my own research effort, that of the Chronology of Ancient Egypt (at
least that is how it started out), and that touch upon the central theme of our
protagonist. A main plank of this
less-than-realistic idea is that we cannot reasonably take from Genesis a
Cosmology that would be acceptable to modern science, for example, to a
professional Geologist. I disagree. However, let me state now that my experience
in the internet forum world does not orient me to the views of
Answers-in-Genesis [AIG]. I am not a
devotee of Irenaeus and his 6,000 years of history, geology, etc. I believe Emeritus Professor Lorence G.
Collins’ excellent refutation of Dr. Robert Gentry’s ‘fingerprints of God’.
So, first some underlying
assumptions - or my premises - need to be set forth.
Chronology is no easy concept. Do we do it the ‘Greek’ way or the ‘Hebrew’
way so-called?
There exist archival records from ancient societies
that are not anachronisms and are reliable.
The classic example is Ezra and Nehemiah and the records held in Susa
and used by the Persian King at the time to validate the re-build of the
Temple.
The Classical Historians have much to offer and need
to be respected for all research efforts will founder in the absence of their
posthumous input.
Science is a seriously strange beast. I cite the Benzene Ring anyway you want to
take it.
Astronomy is fraught.
Try using Stellarium on Ubuntu platform with Ammi-Zaduga’s records.
Radiometric dating has two pillars
1. Barry
Setterfield’s -5589 to -2898 range
2. Radiocarbon
is reliable to a maximum of 5,500 years BP.
This is demonstrated by Lake Suigetsu, with its
surrounding Palaeozoic Hills that can only mean - at
best – a 252 Ma age. Converting this date, using Barry Setterfield's
formula, we get -3,000 approx. i.e. being conservative. Total time to
date is therefore 5,000 orbital years and Suigetsu’s supposed 60,000-year
varves record therefore implies a monthly or lunar driver to these varves i.e.
60,000 / 5,000 = 12 per orbital year or one ‘record’ per month. A few quotes will set the scene for
the accompanying fruity melodrama.
Do places on Earth exist where annual records have been
stored for tens of thousands of years and can be accessed today? Ice-cores and
tree rings preserve long records of yearly events but some of the best records
come from layers of sediment underlying some lakes which can be read like the
annual rings of an oak tree. These alternating layers of sediments and sometimes
organic material are called varves and by counting each varve sequentially a
varve chronology can be constructed.
Varve chronologies are a window to the past and have been used to study
past climate conditions, the periodicity of volcanic eruptions and as an
independent test of radiocarbon (C14) dating methods.
One place where varves have been studied for decades is below
a deep lake in Japan: Lake Suigetsu.
Here a varve chronology stretching back 60,000 years has been
established.

The evidence from varves presents a formidable challenge to
young-earth-creationists (YECs) and their assertion that scientific evidence,
properly interpreted, points to a young earth.
Though a well-worn example, this recent work pushing the varve
chronology to 60,000 year bears reviewing in light of how YECs have responded
in the past to this challenging data.
Geology is a generous study that yields the data to
grant History a leg up to its rightful place.
For example, in late August, -2901 a sea, which had freely drained
through a strait into an ocean over many years, was closed off from the ocean
when the strait suddenly disappeared. It
briefly reopened three times over the next two and a half months before closing
completely. During this time it commenced drying out; twenty-one days after
the final closure the desiccation had maxed out; waters from surrounding rivers
flowed in for the next thirty-four days reducing salinity at the end of which
time the strait re-opened. From

Ocean refilled the cut-off inland seas through the modern-day Strait of
Gibraltar. The Mediterranean Basin flooded over a period estimated to have been

This pair of model-summary-diagrams from Colorado Plateau
Geosystems, one before the Messinian Salinity Crisis and one after, shows the
tectonic movements that led to the closing and re-opening. The orbital dates are from -2902.618 or May,
-2903 see Figure 1 Ron Blakey, Colorado Plateau

and to -2898.68676 or April, -2899 see Figure 2. Thus in four years the drama of the Crisis
unfolded leaving our world with the Straits of Gibraltar. The Pleistocene high water mark is suggested
to be dated to 0.4 Ma or -2897.224962 or Oct, -2898 i.e. some three years
later.

The Messinian Salinity Crisis (MSC), also referred to as
the Messinian Event, and in its latest stage as the Lago Mare
event, was a geological event during which the Mediterranean
Sea went into a cycle of partly or nearly complete desiccation throughout the
latter part of the Messinian age of the Miocene epoch, from
5.96 to 5.33 Ma (million years
ago). It ended with the Zanclean flood, when the
Atlantic reclaimed the basin.[1][2]
Sediment samples from below the deep seafloor of the Mediterranean Sea,
which include evaporite minerals, soils, and fossil plants, show
that, about 5.96 million years ago in the late Miocene period, the precursor of
the Strait of Gibraltar closed tight and the
Mediterranean Sea, for the first time and then repeatedly [sort of], partially
desiccated.[3] The strait closed 5.6 Ma for the last time and,
because of the generally dry climate conditions, within a millennium the
Mediterranean basin nearly completely dried out, evaporating into a deep dry
basin bottoming at some places 3 to 5 km (1.9 to 3.1 mi) below the
world ocean level, with a few hypersaline Dead Sea-like pockets.
Around 5.5 Ma, less dry climatic conditions allowed the basin to resume
receiving more fresh water from rivers, with pockets of Caspian-like brackish
waters getting progressively less hyper-saline, until the Strait of Gibraltar
finally reopened 5.33 Ma with the Zanclean flood.[4]

Religious writings are always agenda-driven.
Divine guidance goes a long way to benchmark, clarify difficult
research options, and add in precious intervals of time that would otherwise
‘blow up’ perfectly good work. What is
the Classic Example? Isaiah and the length of reign of a king as 70 years is a
crucial piece of the chronology puzzle.
This, of course, puts a whole new perspective on “three score and ten”
and validates Fidel Castro’s famous ‘a man’s lifespan is 120 years’ in that no
king could command an army before his 40th year was over. Bureaucracy existed even then – Sir Humphrey
Amenhoteppleby.
Sometimes an idea confronts you but you only want to run

Let’s Construct an Argument
The premises above, indicated by the underlining, are our basis
for arguing for a revelation that has an application to the physical
realm. This does not mean, of course,
that what we read is to be taken as ‘literal’ in the sense that we have the seven
(six actually) days of the Creation of plants, animals and man. Here we immediately have a divergence of
major import with AIG authors. No
writers to date have put forth the possibility of a second seven days in which
man was created.
Firstly, if the first chapter of Genesis is giving solely an order of
the Universe and its governance and not also an insight into the beginning of a
developing material universe out of nothing then we have to account for
scientific data that indicates ca. one
metonic cycle later or 11.2 Ga equivalent to mid-March, -5570 from 13.8 Ga =
Dec, -5589 the Universe was established as it looks to astronomers today. The corresponding order of the universe
would therefore be – as CUT has previously asserted – the putting in charge over the now not-quite-dry Solar System Lucifer
as a finisher and completer of the work of creation to date.

ago.
For this, they devised the biggest study Hubble has ever undertaken.
Looking at a large number of early galaxies, just a few billion years after the

of galaxies we're familiar with.

Further on this line of reasoning we can look at
another change in the order of matters paralleled by astrophysical events.

gravity, about 5 or 6 billion years after the Big Bang, according to NASA, a
mysterious force now called dark energy began speeding up the expansion of the
universe again, a phenomenon that continues today.
Now CUT gives sometime in -4915/-4914 (= -5570 + 656 ignored years of the Classical Writers)
or 5,676,345,243 years ago, converted by Barry Setterfield’s formula, as the
rebellion of Lucifer and the establishment of his Satanic or ‘dark’ order of Governance,
perhaps powered by his dark energy. Is
not order in governance paralleled by scientific record once again? Compare 5 –
6 billion years ago with 5.68 billion from CUT.
Our next exciting adventure concerns the dating of meteorite
debris. This, it turns out, is a bit
less obvious but is worth a mention. The
new age is Dec, -4655 converted. The
order of the Universe changes – many religious records could be seen as an indirect
reference to a war in the heavens in which lots of celestial elements were
badly smashed up in great lightning bolt attacks of massive energy. See the Electric Universe websites for some

The age of the Solar
System redefined by the oldest Pb–Pb age of a meteoritic inclusion

Abstract
The age of the Solar System can be defined as the time of formation of
the first solid grains in the nebular disc surrounding the proto-Sun. This age
is estimated by dating calcium–aluminium-rich inclusions in meteorites. These
inclusions are considered as the earliest formed solids in the solar nebula.
Their formation marks the beginning for several long- and short-lived
radiogenic clocks that are used to precisely define the timescales of Solar
System events, such as the formation and evolution of planetary bodies…. Here
we present the 207Pb–206Pb isotope systematics in a
calcium–aluminium-rich inclusion from the Northwest Africa 2364 CV3-group
chondritic meteorite, which indicate that the inclusion formed 4,568.2 million
years ago. This age is between 0.3 (…) and 1.9 (…) million years older than
previous estimates and is the oldest age obtained for any Solar System object
so far. We also determined the 26Al–26Mg model age of
this inclusion, and find that it is identical to its absolute Pb–Pb age,
implying that the short-lived radionuclide 26Al was homogeneously
distributed in the nebular disc surrounding the proto-Sun. From the
consistently old ages in the studied inclusion, we conclude that the proto-Sun
and the nebular disc formed earlier than previously thought.
We now come to the Book of Genesis and the second and third chapters as
well as the first. Here our protagonist
gets into his theme with gusto. He tells us that the concerns of the ancients
(we might ask so what?) were about the celestial order and this is what is
expressed. To a certain degree we can
allow him his whimsy. It doesn’t overly
upset anything much unless you have a ‘Fundamentalist’ view – which the authors
of CUT and its three ageing contributors do not. Is there a corresponding geological
event? In CUT chronology we have a
creation of Adam in -4531 or -4530. CUT
is a bit uncertain here. However, converted by Barry Setterfield’s formula, we
have a date which is either 4,105,104,431 years ago or 4.1 Ga. Now we know that at this time the ‘stars’
were set up for various purposes.
Mercury would be in that list and also as a Messenger of the Gods from
the secular point of view. The current
scientific information about Mercury has it 4.1 to 4 billion years old in terms
of its bombardment history. This history
like that on the Moon would have made it more luminous PERHAPS. But whatever the effect of an Early
Bombardment it seems that it was involved the divine purpose.

Washington: A team of scientists has revealed that the oldest visible
terrains on Mercury have an age of 4 billion to 4.1 billion years[2], and that the first
400 to 500 million years of the planet`s evolution are not recorded on its
surface.
The next really large change in the order of things is the Expulsion
from the Garden of Eden. This in CUT’s
chronology was 30 years after man’s creation. Here we have the Creator making
clothes for Adam and Eve – a sort of preparation for their new lifestyle and
some higher matter according to our protagonist. Maybe the Late Heavy Bombardment also set
matters in motion. Powdering the Moon by
some means is implied. Increasing its albedo even further is also implied to
allow these two characters to keep track of time. Originally, in CUT’s opinion it was a custom
anciently to count in lunations. So in
-4501 we have a date converted from 3,997,562,578 years ago (or
3,995,000). The time of the first sin
and a level of dismay no doubt.

Young Earth Longer Than Thought

Scientists think untold numbers of asteroids and comets pummeled Earth,
the moon and the inner planets during an era known as the Late Heavy
Bombardment about 4.1 billion to 3.8 billion years ago. Investigators continue
to debate the precise nature of this epoch in terms of what happened and how
long it lasted.
Finally we could go on to some very detailed material[3]
but we should finish up with the King Lists from Sumer. The first 324 years are said to be a record
from Eridu in various sources. Then
there is a move to Bad-tibira. Here we
have a change in the order of things, in a governance sense, etc. The date for
this transfer is -4531 + 324 = -4207.
This date converted brings us to 3,038,600,869 years ago. The cratons
have begun to form geologically-speaking.
Their formation corresponds to the orbital period -4128 to -4022 so our
-4207 falls into the right time slot.
Thus the move from Eridu to Bad-tibira could only take place after the
craton on which Bad-tibira was located had formed. We should also note that in terms of -4207
and Enosh, the Biblical Patriarch, the Egyptians in CUT’s view used this date
as a benchmark for drift calculation purposes.
Thus there is an issue of governance with the rise of Enosh to
authority.
Conclusion
What therefore can we conclude?
We might say that in many different ways ancient records do set out the
‘whose-in-charge’ agenda and our protagonist has a point. In terms of AIG we may say that their
rejection of this point is the issue on which their answers can no longer be
said to be in Genesis. In broader terms
we should say that there are times when the Scriptures or texts revered, wisely
or unwisely, are needed to support a finding but that generally-speaking we do
not have to surrender our physical, scientific views or over-react to
breathless piety on the part of professing-Christian scientists.
The purpose of the paper is to argue coherently for a Science-based
approach to Archaeology that is reconciled to History as expressed in ancient
archival material, the father of History and the Classical Writers. This is to be further reconciled with
Electric Universe Geologists. The role
of professing-Christian Scientists is to be argued against.

“Sixteen biggest Craters in the Solar System”,
Talltanic Videos, gives the Hellas Planitia
Crater on Mars as occurring -4530. Since
the size is enormous one wonders whether this is an arc blast feature of a
monumental strike of lightning – one big enough to wreck the Martian surface in toto. To strip water, atmosphere, alter the
electric field and produce the surface we see today in Mars Rover imaging. This
corresponds to the Earth’s ‘tohu and bohu’ condition and the re-creation in
-4531/-4530 and we thus may picture Earth in a somewhat similar condition but
with a great load of debris floating about in near space. This implies a humongous lightning event or
events on Earth ca. -4531. We may also
suggest that Mars near space environment was ‘cleared’ in some manner at the
same time.
